KAUF: One guy, Ron, from Los Angeles, but 2 guys when we perform live. Hoping to get Joseph, the drummer, involved in some of the productions after this album is released.
MM: Tell us a brief story about you?
KAUF: I bought a broken OBX on Craigslist a while back, for what seemed like an amazing deal at the time, only to have a synth tech tell me he wouldn’t touch it with a ten foot pole because it was so corroded and disgusting inside. I eventually got it mostly working myself…but it consumed probably a full month of my life. Never again.
MM: What are your non musical influences?
KAUF: Alice Miller’s books were a pivotal starting point for unraveling my history. Surrealists like Pavel Tchelitchew.

KAUF: A remix of Through the Yard by Fort Romeau will be out on vinyl via Permanent Vacation on April 29th, then more singles, touring and my LP – Regrowth – will be out at the end of the summer.
