It’s been a while since I left a concert feeling as exhilarated as I did on Monday. A feeling that juxtaposes Mac DeMarco’s soft, romantic and delightful style. The band’s aura was pretty much visible through an elaborated choreography of bright red, yellow, and orange spotlights. The band opened their set blasting the speakers at the venue and the minds of the audience. As soon as they came on stage a subtle level of madness was present in the atmosphere. Setting the tone to an unforgettable night.

The Pepperoni Playboy really knows how to connect with its crowd. During their last song they initiated their newest band member by making him crowd surf in a sea of overly excited fans. The second they finished their last song and left the stage, the crowd started to frantically ask for an encore, and of course, they came back to the stage with a surprising one.

One of his bandmates said: “You guys are not ready for what’s coming”. And they weren’t. Metallica’s Enter Sandman was the cherry on top for a show full of energy and raving fans. It was an epic performance. If Mac DeMarco is performing near you anytime soon, I highly suggest you put on your dirtiest clothes and lose yourself to their captivating music – because these guys really know how to put on a show.
